Live Well With Peace of Mind The Woodward provides a warm, home-like environment where individuals can live with dignity, continue to enrich their lives, and participate in their community. Our care staff is well trained to meet the needs of our residents, overseeing medications and assisting with the activities of daily living, including dressing and assistance in bathing. Three nutritious home-cooked meals are provided daily, as well as many snacks and beverages. The Woodward is a busy place, with a variety of activities both inside our home and in the community. We realize, of course, not everyone is a joiner, so you can participate in whatever activities you would like.

The staff is available twenty-four hours a day and all rooms are equipped with an automated alarm for emergencies. When The Woodward is your home, your friends and family may come and go anytime they please. We have some residents who drive and others who feel that between The Woodward and city transportation they don’t need to keep a car. The Woodward provides transportation for physicians and dentist appointments. Because we know how anxious visits to the doctor can be, we will gladly accompany you to add an extra pair of ears to listen to what the doctor or nurse has to say.

We are a half mile from Central Square, Keene, with its beautiful downtown. And about three blocks from the Keene Senior Center. We have a new patio, refinished hardwood flooring, and new gardens. We have a lending library where books are available both from our home and through the Keene Public Library, community gathering areas, a piano, CD player, board and card games and a Nintendo Wii.
