As an integral part of the Hillside Village Keene Life Plan Retirement community, The Prospect-Woodward Health Center is a not-for-profit long-term care community, offering Assisted Living and Specialized Memory Care in Keene NH. The Prospect-Woodward is made up of 43 attractive, newly built, private assisted living apartments,18 private memory care suites and 20 private nursing home accommodations. We are the 21st century evolution of Keene’s Prospect-Woodward Home—the merger of Prospect Place (the oldest residential care provider in New Hampshire, having originally established itself in 1874 by the Ladies of the Sewing Circle of the Unitarian Church) and The Woodward Home, circa 1920. We are located on 66 acres of rural land only minutes from downtown Keene, surrounded by walking paths and conservation land. Each Assisted Living apartment includes a kitchenette, bedroom and living room and the Memory Care Suites offer a large bedroom/living room and private bath. Each neighborhood in our community encompasses a spacious living room, a big open-concept family-style kitchen and dining area, and a spa with whirlpool tub. There are outdoor sitting areas for residents to enjoy, including one in our fully secured Memory Care garden. HealthPro Heritage Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy also has an on-site clinic for resident’s use, and there is a dietician works regularly with our culinary team to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals.
