Taft Home, The - Portland, OR

An historical building in downtown Portland, The Taft Home is more than just apartments. This Residential Care Facility opens its doors to individuals with special needs who are physically, mentally, intellectually, socially, or emotionally impaired, resulting in the inability to live independently. The Taft Home has become an option for those whom other options are not possible. Our mission is to serve the physical and mental health needs of residents who want to retain their independence while receiving the services they need. You are welcomed in a caring environment that promotes good health, tolerance and respect for every invididual. The Taft Home is owned by REACH Community Development, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the provision of affordable housing and operated by Concepts in Community Living, Inc., a company dedicated to serving those with special needs. The building is close to public transportation and offers supportive counseling for those in need.

Target Resident Eligibility Includes:

• Older Adults over 65 who would benefit from a safe and supportive environment

• Full time social worker and experienced staff

• Individuals needing assistance in activities of daily living

• Medicaid, VA and Private Pay accepted
