Again, centrally located the surrounding community offers easy access to downtown Newark, local shopping districts, Christiana Hospital and Interstate 95. Somerford Place is specifically designed for residents with memory impairment due to dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Upon entering the community you are greeted with warmth in our open and spacious town square. This common area is used as the focal point in providing a home like environment to our residents. A specially trained staff is on duty 24 hours a day providing support and guidance to our residents.

Somerford Place has implemented Five Star’s award winning Bridge To Rediscovery program which provides a Montessori base to dementia care.
