I believe that the main thing that sets us apart from other facilities is the wonderful long-term staff that we have retained, along with the faith-based environment. Our staff to resident ratios have always been high compared to other facilities…typically we have 4-5 aides working along side 2 LPN’s and 2 QMA’s throughout the day time shift and the evening shift. We do not have a 3rd shift in the apartments providing care, as assisted living requires the residents to be safe and capable of caring for themselves throughout the night time hours. However, we do have nurses available to assist our AL residents should there be an emergency.
