About Providence Mount St Vincent Retirement Apartments - Seattle, WA
The Mount is a vibrant and innovative living care community for older adults that celebrates life, living and individual capability. Owned and operated by the Sisters of Providence and the Providence Health System, The Mount has been in the same picturesque location atop a West Seattle hill since 1924. We are home to more than 400 older adults who are retired and need some type of assistance with their daily living or are in need of 24-hour care. The Mount is also "home away from home" to 125 infants and children enrolled in our Intergenerational Learning Center, an early learning child care center open to both the community and employees. Our services include:
• 112 retirement apartments with an assisted living program;
• Nursing neighborhoods for 154 residents;
• 20-bed short stay subacute care unit for people recently discharged from the hospital;
• Adult day health program;
• Community-based rehabilitation services for those in need of outpatient services;
• Featured on the front pages of The New York Times (1998), The Seattle Times (1999), and the Christian Science Monitor (1999) as one of the best nursing homes in the country;
