Peace of Mind Senior Care is dedicated to providing services to help seniors remain independent and happy in their own homes for as long as possible. We truly believe there’s no place like home!
Our own family had two separate experiences that led us to create Peace of Mind Senior Care. We watched as two special family members of our extended family thrived in their own homes when a caregiver helped them with activities that were becoming increasingly difficult for them. Aunt June was facing the possibility of leaving her home when a caregiver made it possible to stay by taking her on errands, grocery shopping, to the hairdresser, to church and out for coffee. Granny always talked about how she couldn’t have remained in her family home if it weren’t for the 75-year-old “young lady” who assisted her with meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, and overnight stays to ensure that she was safe and secure.
On a personal level, we also experienced how these caregivers provided peace of mind for the entire family. Knowing that someone was assisting our loved ones and providing regular updates eliminated much of the stress the entire family was experiencing. It also allowed the family to spend more “quality” time with these two special people instead of taking care of household chores and running errands. Our whole family was able to enjoy and cherish the time spent with these two wonderful women.
As a result of our own experiences, we decided to create a company that offers seniors the opportunity to remain happy and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
