Ocean View Cottage - Ventura, CA

Ocean View Cottage is nestled in the Ventura foothills in a lovely home that commands a panoramic view of the ocean and mountains. Residents may read or chat in the spacious living room, play games or watch television in the sunroom or simply sit and take in the view from the shaded comfort of the patio. The Cottage offers a choice of private or semi-private rooms, each with patio access and security alarm.

Chris Woodard, a professional writer, and Elena Woodard, a mechanical engineer, decided to open Ocean View Cottage after experiencing first-hand the difficulty finding caregivers they could trust. Chris’ father had Parkinson’s disease and needed 24-hour assistance.
