Mission Villa is a new facility with all the design features that are currently considered necessary for the safety and well-being of residents afflicted with all types of dementias including Alzheimer’s disease.
 Because Of the many specialized needs of the dementia/Alzheimer’s resident, Mission Villa was built from the ground up utilizing knowledge from several authorities in the Alzheimer’s field.  Mission Villa incorporates all the design features necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.
 Communication is essential.  All parties involved in the care of the residents need to be “on the page.”  Therefore, Mission Villa is an “English only” facility.  Every caregiver and CNA must have the ability to communicate with residents, the management, the nurse  and family members to ensure care plans and needs of residents are met.
 With those features, the loving staff and management can successfully accomplish the goals set forth in the individual care management plans.
 Using individuals care plans, Mission Villa will determine the effectiveness of the individual plan, change the care plan when there is a change in the resident, and develop a complete profile on each individual that can be utilized by all medical professionals and the family.
