Since 1984, Lexington has been a part of the community serving seniors in the Chicagoland suburbs. Our sub acute rehabilitation program is designed specifically for those individuals recovering from a hospital stay, requiring short term rehabilitation and/or skilled care. In the past year, we have successfully rehabilitated over 3500 patients in the Chicagoland area. In a recent satisfaction survey, 99% of the respondents said they were satisfied with the overall quality of the therapy received. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy up to 7 days per week. We also want your stay to feel like home. Our recent sub-acute remodeling features amenities to make your stay more enjoyable such as flat screen TV’s, electrical beds, wireless internet, basic cable, telephones, state of the art therapy gym, and personal choice dining.
For long-term intermediate and skilled nursing care, you’ll benefit from our high quality care and a staff of medical professionals who treat each resident with respect and dignity, support the family, and are sensitive to the physical and emotional aspects of aging. Our tenured staff includes many people who have worked for Lexington for many years, and our average tenure for nurses is 3 ½ years, and CNA’s is 2 ½ years.

We offer in-house hemodialysis six days a week for those patients that require the service during their short-term stay. Our dialysis service features on-staff board certified nephrologists directing your care, a partnership with Fresenius Medical Center (largest dialysis provider in the world) and specially trained dialysis nurses. Our dialysis suite has comfortable leather reclining chairs and individual flat screen TV’s with built in speakers. Our in-house dialysis eliminates the cost and time of transporting the resident to off-site dialysis centers during their stay.
