About LakeCrest House - Seattle, WA
LakeCrest House is located in the lovely Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle, with a beautiful view of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier. At LakeCrest House we have created a warm and gracious bed-and-breakfast feel. We have six private bedrooms with cable television and telephone. Our Geriatric Physician and an RN experienced in geriatric care provide medical oversight and caregiver training. Professionally trained recreation staff supervise chair exercises, mentally stimulating games, discuss current events, and promote socialization between residents. We also provide physical therapy as needed and encourage residents to pursue their own personal interests such as reading, gardening, and sports. We have weekly sing-alongs accompanied on a keyboard plus family gatherings at holidays and birthdays which help to foster the atmosphere of an extended family. Our cheerful and caring live-in staff has made LakeCrest House their home of years. They are experienced in all levels of care including ostomy management, tube feedings and oxygen administration. Residents may furnish their own bedroom or we will provide furnishings. Bathrooms are completely handicapped equipped and a spacious roll-in shower is available for bathing. Personally managed by Dr. & Mrs. Herbert and Sally Weisberg since 1996.
