Keene Valley Neighborhood House - Keene Valley, NY

The Keene Valley Neighborhood House is a licensed assisted living residence located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains on approximately 8 acres. We have a proud history of serving residents of the North Country and in one form or another have over 100 years of proud history. Specifically, we have been providing care to seniors for over 40 years.

We offer a variety of rooms to meet all types of budgets. As a not-for-profit we set aside a number of out beds for low to moderate income seniors. Based on documented income and resources rates are negotiable.

We are proud to say that we pay our staff a socially responsible wage, among the highest in the state as well as provide a wide range of benefits for our employees. We strive to minimize turnover. We believe that by paying superior pay and benefits we attract and retain high quality individuals who in turn provide high quality service and care.

While many organizations put their efforts and money into glossy marketing materials and sales efforts, the Keene Valley Neighborhood House puts its money into employees and service.

We offer private rooms with private baths, private rooms with shared baths, and shared rooms. We have large common areas.

We provide medication administration, medical case management, meals, personal care supporting activities of daily living (ADL's), and a wide range of activities.

We have church service twice weekly. Located in the center of town we are one block from a church, a public library, a diner, a restaurant and bar, lodgings and a school. We pride ourselves of being part of the community and keeping our residents part of the community.
