The Jewish Home, Russ Berrie Home for Jewish Living, is one of the country’s premier Jewish Homes for the elderly. Situated on a breathtaking park-like 16-acre campus, our 180-resident facility offers skilled nursing and geriatric care to families in Bergen, Rockland and Hudson counties.
We enjoy a wonderful tradition of serving the needs of the thousands of elderly and their families in Hudson and Bergen counties. We have a responded to the changing demands of the Jewish community, evolving from what was once a home for orphans and the aged to a state-of-the-art center for long-term and rehabilitative elder care.
Our primary role is to enable people to remain at home for as long as possible by providing them with outpatient services while networking with other Jewish community agencies to provide kosher meals for the elderly throughout Hudson and Bergen County.
