We make sure we do what we can to meet their medical needs onsite. However, if residents require more advanced care, we usually refer them to the Kaiser Foundation Hospital. Our center provides more care than would an independent living program but less care than a nursing home. Everyone here receives as much help as they need with meals, dressing, bathing, combing, laundry and housekeeping. If they can do it themselves and want to do it without help, we let them.
