The Health Care Center at The Davis Community welcomed its first residents in 1966 and has continued to grow in size and scope largely due to the seamless passing of the vision to the board of directors and Davis employees. A physician is assigned to each resident. Our skilled nursing team in Wilmington, NC provides the daily support and monitoring for medical issues and the activities of the household are directed by life enhancement guides and homemakers.The Rehabilitation & Wellness Pavilion offers private rooms with in-room tiled bathrooms. Each room has a view and is within steps of the dining room and treatment rooms. The inpatient physical therapy gym, where one-on-one therapies are provided, is spacious, has a lovely view of the courtyard and is well-equipped.For individuals with special treatment needs, aquatic therapy is available in a 90 degree salt water pool.
