Daughters of Sarah Senior Community is our ongoing response to the changing needs of the Capital Region’s elderly. In 1940, leaders in the Capital Region Jewish community saw that the Depression had left many older Jewish men and women without means or family to ensure their care and safety. The mission was clear: create a haven for our elders.Today, still growing to meet the needs of the region’s elderly and their families, Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center anchors a Senior Community sitting on 40 gently sloping, wooded acres, offering a multi-level continuum of care informed by traditional Jewish values and award-winning attention to best clinical practices and resident safety.
