Nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, Craneville Place of Dalton offers a serene country setting, but is still just a few miles from downtown Pittsfield and Berkshire Medical Center. Privately owned and operated, our 89 bed skilled nursing and rehab center offers a comprehensive continuum of healthcare services ranging from short term rehabilitation care, to long term, respite and hospice care, as well as specialized dementia care.
Our residence has been newly renovated, providing a warm home-like environment for our residents. We provide a variety of unique services including a secured facility, superior staffing ratios, comprehensive psychiatric care, enhanced recreational programming, smoking program, outside porches and enclosed courtyard, and a secured unit for the cognitively impaired resident as well as those requiring additional supervision.
Craneville Place of Dalton is staffed by highly skilled professionals including physicians, licensed nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, dietary and activity specialists. We strive to help improve the life of every resident, by providing the best in compassionate medical and rehabilitative care.
Our facility is Medicare and Medicaid certified in both Massachusetts and New York State. In addition, we accept managed care plans, Veterans Administration Benefits and assist families in understanding and applying for insurance benefits.
