Comfort Keepers, located in Bloomfield, CT has been serving clients throughout the Greater Hartford area "East and West of the River," since 2003. Our Comfort Keepers office serves clients in both the Bloomfield CT area and the Manchester , CT area, including the towns of Windsor, West Hartford, Glastonbury, Bloomfield and Manchester CT and beyond.
Comfort Keepers provides non-medical, in-home care, including companionship, homemaking, personal care and transportation for seniors and adults in need of assistance with the activities of daily living.
Our caregivers are employees of Comfort Keepers of Bloomfield, CT and are bonded, insured, background checked, and supervised by the Client Care Coordinator/Nurse. Caregivers are covered under Worker's Compensation and General Liability Insurance while working for Comfort Keepers with our clients. These insurances are an important benefit provided by Comfort Keepers which protect the client and caregiver. Comfort Keepers verifies employee eligibility to work in the U.S. and utilizes a professional payroll service, with all applicable taxes paid. Comfort Keepers employee caregivers are residents of our local community.

The Client Care Coordinator/Nurse participates in the assessment process, helps to develop the written Plan of Care, supervises caregivers and communicates with the client and family.
Prior to services beginning, Comfort Keepers requires a home visit/client assessment, signed Client Care Agreement, Plan of Care and 2 week refundable deposit. Invoices are mailed weekly and due on receipt. Clients utilizing Long Term Care or other insurance policy should verify their eligibility and the claims/reimbursement process of their insurer.
As is required by the State of CT, Comfort Keepers is a registered Homemaker Companion Agency with the CT Department of Consumer Protection # HCA-0000563.
Comfort Keepers is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Home Care Association of America/CT Chapter and the CT Homemaker Companion Association.
