Brandon Woods of New Bedford is a 135-bed skilled nursing center. We are family owned and operated by the Essex Group Management Corp, servicing the health care needs of seniors for more than 50 years. We specialize in Short and Long Term care, Rehab, Sub-acute care, and Alzheimer's Specialty care. We also host and Alzheimer's specialty Adult Day Health Center 6 days a week, as well as Senior Transportation and Home Care Services.
We are conveniently located less than a mile from St. Luke's Hospital. Brandon Woods of New Bedford was awarded the 2010 National Quality Award by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living Organization.
Our sub-acute/rehabilitation unit is designed for individuals who after an acute hospitalization stay, require skilled nursing and/or rehabilitation services to return home. We provide Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to our short-term residents as well as to our long-term residents who may benefit from these therapies.
Our Alzheimer's and long-term units are secure and these individuals benefit from a variety of therapeutic recreational and spiritual services in addition to round the clock quality nursing services.
